The Role
Accounting Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the accounting department including accounts payable, budget and forecasting, accounts reconciliation, variance analysis, financial reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full cycle accounting processes including accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, tax filings and compliance.
- Developing and implementing accounting policies in accordance with acceptable accounting standards
- Reviews preparation of journal entries, reports, and schedules to ensure data accuracy of financial reports provided to Management (including the preparation and analysis of financial statements and supporting schedules such as aging schedules, lapsing schedules, amortization schedules, and other balance sheet and income statement reports)
- Prepare month-end reports including basic financial statements: balance sheet, income statement, cash flow
- Entire accurate and timely submission of required reports
- Transparently reports to the top management for all positive and negative result of the day to day business transactions.
- Responsible for the timely and accurate submission of statutory and month-end management and other reports in compliance with government regulations
Qualifications
- Accountancy Graduate, CPA
- At least 3 years experience as Accounting Manager.
- Extensive knowledge of the full accounting cycle
- Must be highly knowledgeable in using QuickBooks, Excel, report writing for data analytics and reports
- Stay abreast on industry changes and current tax/accounting laws
- Must be able to start immediately
